On this captivating summer tour, unwind in the picturesque surroundings of North Wales. Explore its coastlines and islands, discover an astonishing fantasy castle, experience one of the ‘must do’ rail journeys in the world and the famous Puffin Island cruise.

Whilst in North Wales, the following programme includes;

• We stop in Llandudno for a visit to this popular resort. We also visit the enormous 19^th century fantasy – Penrhyn Castle & Gardens. A neo-Norman castle crammed with fascinating items including outstanding paintings along with a 60-acre grounds home of exotic trees, plants and a Victorian walled garden.

• Visit to Betwys y Coed, plus we join the 4.7 mile rail journey at Llanberis to Snowdon’s summit – the highest peak in Wales. We also travel back to Victorian times at the National Slate Museum – see the workshops, split a slate and hear a real insight into the hardships of quarry life.

• A visit to Caernarfon dominated by its Castle, one of the most impressive in Wales. Later, we venture over the Menai Straights and on to the Isle of Anglesey. We join the cruise to Puffin Island – home to many species of birds and wildlife. The cruise takes you right round the island with regular sightings of puffins, grey seals and dolphins.
