With 500 acres of landscape, historical features, five indoor galleries, outdoor sculpture, a changing programme of displays there is always something new to discover on every visit. We later continue to The Hepworth Gallery at Wakefield, an award winning venue with world-class displays.

The Hepworth Wakefield opened on 21 May 2011 and is Yorkshire's landmark gallery for the visual arts. This stunning building, designed by David Chipperfield Architects, is a place to explore art, architecture and your imagination.
With over 1,600 square metres of light filled gallery spaces, The Hepworth Wakefield is the largest purpose-built exhibition space outside of London. The gallery celebrates the areas artistic legacy as the birthplace of Barbara Hepworth, one of the 20th Century's most important artists, and brings together work from Wakefield's art collection, internationally renowned artists as well as a significant collection of Hepworth's work.
Located in an outstanding setting on Wakefield's historic waterfront, the gallery offers a vibrant social space that is central to the artistic and social life of the region. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the world-class facilities including cafe, shop and education spaces and take part in an exciting programme of family activities, workshops, talks, tours and special events.

The majority of trips return from destination between 16:30 and 17:30. The driver will inform you of the exact time on the day, dependant on outward travel times. Whilst we do not guarantee a W/C on board most of our excursion fleet do have toilet facilities. For your comfort we allocate seating at time of booking, however reserve the right to alter or amend your seat allocation for utilisation purposes.
