A tour around Scotland visiting Scotland’s ancient capital for five centuries Perth, a visit to its current capital Edinburgh and an excursion to discover the historic Stirling where we visit The Kelpies.

 

Whilst on tour, the following program includes;

 

Scone Palace

 

• Follow in the footsteps of 42 Kings, explore stunning state rooms and see where Queen Victoria and Prince Albert dined during their visit in 1842. Find your way through the maze, visit the famous Walled Garden, wander in over 100 acres of woodland gardens that are perfect for relaxing walks.

• Scone Palace is a place that breathes history. Today, in the 21st century, it is the home of the Earls of Mansfield, most famous as The Crowning Place of Scottish Kings and a major attraction to visitors from all over the world.

 

Edinburgh

 

• As Scotland’s Capital needs little introduction, explore the castle, the Royal Mile, or perhaps a spot of retail therapy on Princes Street. Take a open-top bus to give you an over view of all the sights, or may be take the tram to Leith where you can visit the former Royal Yacht Britannia.

 

Perth

 

• Recently opened, the new Perth Museum offers visitors a 5*, fully accessible and captivating experience that inspires them to explore Scotland’s past and its connection to the wider world through its display of exceptional objects ranging from fine and decorative art to items representing natural history, social history, and world cultures. Perth has a range of visitor attractions, independent retailers, cafes & bars all within a short walk of designated coach stops.

 

Stirling

 

• Striling oozes history and mixed with the modern. With a castle and former jail open to visitors, learn more about Scotland and how it has shaped history. A traditional town with plenty to see and do and famous for its variety of independent retailers to explore.

 

Rob Roy, Aberfoyle ***

 

The Rob Roy Hotel is wonderfully situated in idyllic countryside at the gateway to the glorious Trossachs and is set within Scotland’s first National Park. Named after the legendary local folk hero Rob Roy McGregor, Rob Roy offers excellent food friendly staff, and good old-fashioned value for money.
