With perhaps the most famous pier on the Norfolk Coast, beautiful beaches, and great places to eat out, Cromer has a winning tourist industry and a fascinating history including its reputation for delicious local crab which is still caught and brought to shore.
Whilst on tour, the following program includes;
Wroxham
Known as the Capital of the Broads, Wroxham and Hoveton emerged as the first centre for Broads boating holidays when railways arrived in the late 19th century and the area remains the biggest and most popular location to start a boating holiday. Despite both villages often being referred to simply as Wroxham the majority of the facilities are actually located in Hoveton including, rather ironically, Roys of Wroxham department store the largest village store in the world
Norwich
Norwich has a wonderful mix of the modern and historic, complementing each other. The city its centre is easy to walk around and has a river at its heart. As well as being the most complete medieval city in the UK with stunning Norman Cathedral and Castle, it has a flourishing arts, music and cultural scene, superb independent as well as High Street shopping. It was also Englands first UNESCO City of Literature.
Sheringham
Sheringham, on the Norfolk Coast, is a traditional seaside town with an award-winning family friendly beach, heritage steam railway, shops selling local produce and lovely coastal walks. Sheringham was once an old fishing village and that heritage is still evident today in museums and on the promenade.
Wells
Wells-next-the-Sea is a town shaped through centuries and history. Renowned for its timeless seaside charm, explore the beauty of this coastal town and explore what has made this destination popular with generations of visitors.
Built in 1820, the Hotel de Paris is a stunning Regency period building, occupying the finest position on Cromer seafront and boasting stunning views of the resort and Cromer pier. One of the only places in the UK where you can watch the sun set and rise from the same bench directly outside the hotel, the hotel is steeped with Character and period features.
Cromer has grown into a bustling holiday resort with superb sunshine records and is famous for its vast sandy beaches, delicious Cromer Crab and cuisine and plenty of attractions. The resort itself boasts, Cromer Pier, the Pavilion Theatre, many boutiques independent shops and a historic parish church.
The hotel has a warm and welcoming bar and lounge area, restaurant and a lift serving all floors. Free hotel parking is available directly outside the hotel.
