With a base just outside Aberdeen, ‘The Granite City’, this exciting tour highlights the east of Scotland and lovely Royal Deeside. This is where the Queen is said to be her happiest - It’s a matter of record that Queen Victoria fell deeply in love with what would become known as Royal Deeside. “All seemed to breathe freedom and peace” she wrote.

Royal Deeside Villages

• Royal Deeside is an area associated with Queen Victoria who fell in love with its stunning landscape and discover why it became one of her favourite areas. We enjoy this breathtaking scenery during our excursion and visit some of the region’s most picturesque and famous villages. The Cairngorms National Park is our first stop for a visit to the charming village of Braemar situated in the heart of the National Park. We also visit Crathie, which sits on the banks of the River Dee prior to Ballater, which sits in the heart of Royal Deeside, known for its spring waters and is the area that is dominated by the Balmoral Castle Estate.

Banffshire Coastlines

• Scotland’s Banffshire Coast is our destination; the county town of Banff has attracted visitors for centuries and discover Banff's rich history and Georgian architecture along with its colourful boats in the marina. We continue onto Fraserburgh, which holds the title of the biggest shellfish port in Scotland, stunning coastal scenery, award-winning beach, and rich maritime history, including the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses and the Fraserburgh Heritage Centre.
