Back for 2026 this tour showcases the best of the Isle of Wight. Known for its beaches and seafront promenades such as The Royal Pier Hotel, the island may be small, but it offers everything needed for the perfect holiday. The icing on the cake is entry to Osborne House, the much-loved historical holiday home of the Royal family.

Osborne House

 

• Osborne House is a former royal retreat on the Isle of Wight, built for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert between 1845 and 1851 in the Italianate style to be a private family home. It features grand, richly decorated rooms, a collection of heirlooms reflecting royal life, and expansive grounds with formal gardens, terraces, and a private beach. The property was designed with a focus on family life, incorporating elements like the Swiss Cottage, a charming chalet where the royal children learned life skills.

 

Newport

 

• Newport is a city in South Wales on the River Usk, historically a major coal port that is now transitioning to a tech and digital hub, hosting the UK's National Cyber Security Academy and the International Convention Centre Wales

 

Ryde

 

• Ryde is a large seaside town on the north-east coast of the Isle of Wight, known as the "Gateway to the Island" due to its pier and ferry connections to the mainland. It is a popular resort with wide sandy beaches, a historic Victorian pier, and a range of attractions, including a lively high street with shops, restaurants, and family entertainment.

 

Royal Pier **

 

The Royal Pier, one of Sandown’s finest Hotels, was originally built by the Victorians for Princess Beatrice as her summer residence.  The property later became a very popular meeting place for those wealthy travellers who followed in the path of royalty to walk the pier and enjoy the invigorating fresh sea air.
