A festive tour visiting the delightful Alpine Christmas Markets of Bournemouth plus a scenic drive through the beautiful scenery of the New Forest National Park making stops in Lyndhurst and Lymington. Enjoy a festive cruise in Poole with mince pies and mulled wine

• DAY ONE

  - We travelling to Bournemouth, arriving in the afternoon at The Ocean Beach Hotel & Spa. 4 nights stay – dinner, bed and breakfast. Entertainment is provided on two evenings during your stay.

• DAY TWO

  - After a leisurely breakfast, we visit the wonderful Bournemouth Alpine Christmas Markets. Browse the chalets of food, drink and local craftspeople showcasing their festive goodies. At the centre of the market is the delightful   Alpine Bar where you can grab a festive mulled wine or hot chocolate and relax, enjoying the atmosphere of the market. A Christmas Tree Wonderland of over 100 glittering trees and illuminations creates a spectacular walk from the market to the seafront. In the afternoon we return to the hotel in time for Christmas Cake. Games entertainment will be provided such as Bingo before we enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner.

• DAY THREE

  - This morning, we head east to the nearby port of Poole with its busy harbour and famous pottery. We have a chance to look around the festive markets before we board a festive cruise around Poole Harbour. Enjoy mince pies and mulled wine as we take a relaxing sail around the harbour. The captain provides live commentary, ensuring we don’t miss a key sight. We return to the hotel to have some time to relax before our dinner tonight, followed by entertainment.

• DAY FOUR

  - We begin the day with a scenic drive through the New Forest National Park as we head to the town of Lyndhurst. Known as the capital of The Nee Forest since the times of William the Conqueror, Lyndhurst offers a wide range of shops, cosy tea rooms, old-world pubs and cafes. Later, we travel to the market town of Lymington, in the south of the New Forest. Here we have a chance to enjoy lunch and spend some time exploring at our own pace. We will return to the hotel to enjoy afternoon tea. Tonight is New Year’s Eve so we have a celebratory glass of Bucks Fizz before dinner.

• DAY FIVE

  - After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
