Always a top destination, Torquay, often referred to the Queen of the English Riviera is our base for our spring tour that explores both South and East Devon coastlines, including heritage journeys and visits exploring the very best this region has to offer. Torquay, a traditional and thriving seaside town set on Devon's English Riviera coastline. With its iconic palm trees, busy harbour, international marina, sandy beach and wonderful array of continental style cafes, Torquay is the perfect spot for a South Devon seaside holiday. Theres plenty to do from the historic Torre Abbey just a short walk from the hotel to perhaps venturing further to Babbacombe where you will find the famous Kents Cavern, or may be take a boat trip. The towns of Paignton and Brixham that make up Torbay are easily accessible.

Exeter
Located in the heart of Devon and the countys capital, A UNESCO city of Literature and home to thousands of years worth of history. Visit the historic quayside, uncover thousands of years of history with Exeter Cathedral or enjoy some shopping throughout the city.
Teignmouth
Teignmouth town has several beautiful Georgian-style buildings and the high street is lovely for a spot of retail therapy. It is a stunning coastal town that sits on the mouth of the River Teign and in the midst of beautiful Devon countryside. Teignmouth Town Beach is a long expanse of sand and the pier features arcades and a promenade. Teignmouth hosts a regular food festival and the Taste of the Teign food trail gives visitors the chance to visit and taste the towns best food places and produce. Try fresh mussel and oyster beds and jam made from freshly picked berries.
Dawlish
Home to the famous black swans and a beach, Dawlish is a great destination for a summer visit, relax and perhaps enjoy a Devonshire Ice Cream. There are a whole host of amusements all surrounding the lawn and the brook which is the centrepiece for this charming small town, where you can usually see the swans. The town centre features an interesting assortment of shops.
The largest of the TLH four hotels and home of the Starlight Lounge, the TLH Derwent Hotel is where youll find big entertainment. Theres bingo, kids clubs, fantastic shows from the in-house entertainment team and top local cabaret acts, so you can dance the night away, or simply sit back and enjoy the atmosphere!
